Tune in as "Precious" Paul Rosenthal spins records for his annual Spooktacular Halloween Marathon – but something far more sinister is about to take over the night.
THE STORY
"You're listenin' to Precious Paul on 103.1 THE SCREAM, where the only thing louder than the music… is your heartbeat."
It's October 31st, 1979, and SKRM 103.1 – THE SCREAM! is live on air for its Spooktacular Halloween Marathon. Inside the dimly lit, wood-paneled, shag-carpeted studio, Precious Paul is the king of late-night radio. His smooth, charismatic voice beckons us to join him for an unforgettable All Hallows' Eve filled with scary stories and killer tunes. But just as the clock strikes midnight, something strange happens. A phone rings – the station's hotline.
The caller's voice is frantic, whispering a cryptic warning: Outside, the streets are crawling with ghouls, masked psychos, and all manner of unspeakable creatures. The radio station is surrounded, and the horrors are closing in fast. Before Precious Paul can react, the lights flicker, static crackles, and the real terror begins.
YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS
As you enter the station's eerie, wood-paneled halls, the unsettling vibe of classic 70s horror films envelopes you. Echoes of Paul's voice fill the air as he continues his broadcast, giving a play-by-play of the madness unfolding.
"Don't… don't go outside!" Precious Paul warns. "They're everywhere! Monsters, maniacs… I can't believe what I'm seeing!" But the creatures aren't just outside. The sweet sounds of '70s rock have summoned them, and they're hunting anyone unlucky enough to be inside the station.
THE TERROR ESCALATES
From the dusty record room to the dilapidated green room, each twist and turn plunges you deeper into the chaos. Blood-splattered walls, shattered glass, and shredded electrical equipment mark the trail of destruction as ghoulish beings roam the station, stalking their prey. Can you make it through the old vinyl archives without being caught by the masked butcher lurking in the shadows?
Precious Paul's voice grows more panicked as the siege continues:
"They've broken in! I've locked myself in the studio, but they're here. They're inside the building!"
Suddenly, the hallway fills with static, the buzz of a saw echoes from somewhere nearby, and a bell's distinct, unsettling chime rings out. A group of terrifying mask-wearing maniacs emerges from the shadows, their chilling stares following you.
SURVIVAL IS KEY
At every turn, you'll encounter iconic 70s-style horrors straight from your worst nightmares. From chainsaw-wielding lunatics to grotesque creatures crawling from the air ducts, the dangers are relentless. Can you outrun them? Or will you become part of the twisted broadcast forever?
And just when you think you've made it out, the radio booth looms ahead – glass shattered, eerie blue light pouring from within. Precious Paul, now "Possessed Paul," stares out at you from behind the glass, whispering into the mic, "They're coming for you…"
